Our mission is to help young people identify and develop their gifts in the arts and to encourage them to become wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ. With this in mind, the Masterpiece team has facilitated several different types of programs including:
Residential Summer Camps allows young artists extended time to make art and experience Christian community. This is known as the “Masterpiece Project” or summer camp. This year, 2011, marks our tenth year of offering such an experience to teen artists interested in Drama, Visual Arts & Photography, Animation, Creative Writing, Songwriting and Dance.
The Fall Reunion Picnic is for camp alumni and supporters to have fellowship, reminisce, and also dream about the future. Typically great food, a campfire, worship & prayer as well as a collaborative creative art project are included.
Partnerships with other ministries such as Barefoot Republic, Youth for Christ, and Cornerstone Festival to provide workshops in the arts
Local Weekend Workshops are hosted by churches to bring students and established Christian artists together.
